I know that you think
That I don’t care about you
I know that you think
That I won’t come through for you
I know that you think
You’re better off without Me
I know that’s what you think

I know that you think
That I don’t care about you
I know that you think
That I won’t come through for you
I know that you think
You’re better off without Me
I know that if you could only see …
Just how much I love you

Don’t walk away, I’m about to write
The next chapter of your life
Let me fill in the blanks
Let me fill in the void
There’s still so much to explore
It’s not over, we’re not done yet
I’m excited for what is to come next

So don’t walk away, I’m about to write
The next chapter of your life
Let me fill in the blanks
Let me fill in the void
There’s still so much to explore
It’s not over, we’re not done yet
I’m excited for what is to come next

For what is to come
If you let Me, let My will be done

Let Me turn the page
For where you are right now
There’s no space left to write
Let’s leave this place behind
And turn the page
Towards new possibilities
Turn a blank sheet
Let’s leave this place behind

I know that you think
That I don’t care about you
I know that you think
That I won’t come through for you

My thoughts and God’s thoughts
This will be short and sweet. Let’s recap from the 1st devo ‘Prayer for a friend’. In a very short recap this is how we started off 🙂 : we have the mind of Christ as to know the will and plans of God for humanity and for our personal lives. Now let ume say a little bit more about this ‘thinking’ and ‘thoughts’ topic. This time it concerns out imagination.

As we take part in the divine nature of Christ ….

(NIV) 2 Peter 1 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

BIGGER
… God is still BIGGER. I have only two words to give to you today, as a reminder and an encouragement: BIGGER and BETTER.

God’s ways are so, so exceedingly higher than ours. God IS BIGGER still. Bigger in glory, bigger in faithfulness, bigger than what You think and know of Him right now. Bigger in His love for you then you could possibly imagine right now. Bigger in His ability to navigate you into the work that He has prepared for your life. HE IS BIGGER! Bigger than what you have asked of Him so far. God is BIGGER than you THINK. So much BIGGER!

BETTER
God knows way BETTER than what you think you need for you in this season, in your circumstances. Be expectant. Expect much, much more. Let new hope and expectation be birthed in you today. A greater joy I say. Let a greater JOY be your portion. Let TRUST be your faithful companion as you seek the Lord, as you wait on Him. For those who relate to this: I speak that your season of disappointment and regret is over, in Jesus’ Name. It ends right here and now.

(NIV) Ephesians 3:20 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably MORE THAN all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Be blessed my friend as you open your heart to let God be BIGGER and BETTER deep inside you. You have only just begun. The best is still to come!

(NIV) Mark 4 30 Again he said, “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? 31 It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. 32 Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such BIG BRANCHES that the birds can perch in its shade.” 33 With many similar parables Jesus spoke the word to them,  AS MUCH AS THEY COULD UNDERSTAND. 34 He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING.

To end this devotional series I will prayerfully proclaim this ‘BETTER’ scripture from Ephesians 1 over your life (and over your loved ones lives). Receive this prayer. You can open your hands to receive if you want to.

(NIV) Ephesians 1 15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him BETTER 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may KNOW THE HOPE to which he has called you, THE RICHES of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably GREAT POWER for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
